The core of Handzhake is consent. No information is shared between you and others before you agree – and you can always list whom you are sharing information with, just as you can revoke the consent instantly. Share information by SMS, WhatsApp, Messenger, e-mail etc. – or use QR- or 6-letter codes on whatever online platform you prefer. You can even use your Apple or Google Wallet to store your cards for easy access.
You can run – but you can’t hide
While other platforms allow you to create multiple, anonymous profiles, Handzhake does not. You are who you are (verified by your local eID service) and if you are a trustworthy person on one platform, you are most likely also on another – so why not take your rating with you? On the other hand: if someone is not trustworthy – why should they be able to “erase” their doings by creating or “borrowing” another profile?

Instead of relaying information to all your contacts that you have changed your phone number, address or email, just use Handzhake. Even in the “normal” contact database on your phone, your contacts are updated automatically so you’ll never have to edit them again.

Share what you want and when you want. Set up your own boundaries by requesting the information you need to feel comfortable in e.g. a trading or dating scenario – and if the counterparty denies, you have the right to leave the table.
If you agree to share information, you can always stop sharing – and if you agree to share ratings, you always have the option of changing your rating – so let’s all behave even AFTER a trading, dating or even employment scenario has ended.

The “party trick” of Handzhake is being able to connect with other nearby users. It’s like offering your business card to another – only in digital form, which means it can be done silently and fast at e.g. conferences, dinners, concerts etc.
